The underground car park has been excavated with preparation for lift cores and stair wells, whilst cutting trenches and drainage.
A ceremony to mark the start of #construction on Deicorp’s largest ever #project – Tallawong Village - was held last Friday. The sod-turn and blessing #event was attended by local civic leaders including the Mayor and State MP.
Excavation has commenced on-site with excavation and early works anticipated to be completed by January 2022.
Truck movements may increase during this period in accordance with the approved traffic plan
Site preparation works are underway to prepare the area for early earth works and excavation. This will include the delivery and use of plant and machinery.
In the next 4 weeks, work will commence on the installation of new construction hoarding around the site. This hoarding will be BCA compliant and will help to keep the site safe for commuters and motorists in the vicinity.
Seventeen buildings with close to 1000 homes will be built at the Tallawong Metro station as part of ambitious, multimillion-dollar plans for the land surrounding the public transport hub.
